Festive Congress Opening

Congress Opening Ceremony in the Municipal House of Prague, Metro B, Station "Namesti Republiky".
Opening ceremony, awards, organ recital in the Smetana Hall (Jaroslav Tuma - organist; B. A. Wiedermann, Festive March alla Haendel; F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Prelude and Fugue in C minor op.37 No. 1; Ch. M. Widor, Toccata-Finale from the Symphony No. 5 for organ). Afterwards a glass of wine in the adjacent ceremonial saloons.

Congress Concert

Konopiste Castle

Castle built in early French Gothic style in the 13th century and rebuilt round 1887 as a hunting chateau by the successor to the Austrian throne Ferdinand d'Este. Valuable collection of weapons, hunting trophies and works of art.

Karlstejn Castle

Karlstejn Castle, founded 1348 by the famous Czech King and Roman Emperor Charles IV as representative emperor seat and coronation jewellery treasury southward from Prague. Erected by Mathias of Arras.

The Estates' Theatre - W. A. Mozart: La Clemense di Tito

Mozart's opera performance at the exquisite Estates' Theatre where the great composer conducted personally the Don Giovanni's world premiere in 1787.
