Welcome to the 14th International Congress of Chemical and Process Engineering CHISA 2000 to be held in Prague on 27 - 31 August 2000.
The Congress follows the tradition of previous CHISA International Congresses held 1962 in Brno, 1965 and 1969 in Marianske Lazne, and since 1972 in Prague. The name CHISA originates from the Czech acronym for Chemical Engineering, Chemical Equipment Design and Automation. It has been used for the first time in 1956 as a logo for the Annual National Conference of Chemical Engineering.
By 1 August, 1100 participants and 1230 papers have been registered.
