INFORMATION ON CZECH VISA APPLICATION

An entry visa to the Czech Republic is necessary for citizens of the following countries:

Albania, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Georgia, China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Libya, Macedonia, Nicaragua, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia&Montenegro, South Africa, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, Yugoslavia.

Below you will find addresses, telephones, faxes and e-mails of Czech Embassies in the respective countries.

For granting the entry visa participants will use the received Letter of invitation which should be submitted to the Czech Embassy together with the appropriate Visa Application Form.

If the participant did not receive the Letter of invitation or he/she wishes to arrive together with the family members, the CHISA 2004 Organising Committee should be contacted first on org@chisa.cz in order to receive a Letter of invitation. In this Letter all accompanying family members will be listed with indications of personal data: full name (first name + surname) and possibly date of birth (day, month, year). All this data must be supplied in the request for such a Letter of invitation.

Please note that it is no longer possible to obtain a Czech entry visa at the border or at the airport.

Visa granting procedure may take more than one week and therefore it is recommended to apply for visa as soon as possible, but not later than one month before the Congress.

The CHISA 2004 Organising Committee will promote granting Czech visas by sending lists of registered Authors and Participants to the respective Czech Embassy.
